Pure Energy Systems News
October 20, 2011

Andrea Rossi is the inventor of the E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer), a novel technology that allows vast amounts of energy to be produced from "cold fusion" reactions between nickel powder and hydrogen gas. The technology is a game-changing breakthrough, that once proliferated, holds the potential to revolutionize energy production on a global scale. Despite the significance of this breakthrough, his life story is equally as compelling.

He was born during the year 1950 in the Italian city of Milan. As a young man, he worked with his father in the family business -- a machine shop. During his time working with his father, he learned how to operate, repair, and build machinery. The situation also allowed him to obtain organizational and leadership skills, as his responsibilities in the family business grew.

During the time he spent working in the family business, he participated in sports (winning road races), and also excelled in academics. He had a special interest in the sciences, and discovered a keen knack for physical science and chemistry. After his time working with his father, he enrolled in college, and in 1973 (at the age of twenty three), he graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in Philosophy. Later, he continued his formal education by obtaining a chemical engineering degree from the University of Kensington.

His professional career began with a focus on producing energy from waste products, which resulted in multiple inventions and patents. As time progressed, he obtained funding to further develop a specific method of producing liquid fuel from ordinary waste. After obtaining a large amount of funding, and successfully validating -- beyond any doubt -- the technology worked, the Italian authorities changed the laws regarding the handling of waste materials. This sudden shift in the rules, made his activities illegal under the new regulatory guidelines.

Horribly, after making a true "green" energy breakthrough, he was continually persecuted to the point of being stripped of all personal possessions. However, despite having all of his property seized and becoming devoid of any source of income, Andrea Rossi's spirit did not break. He sought a way to continue his work.

In 1996 -- without a penny to his name -- he emigrated to the United States, and quickly found employment. He obtained a position in a company that specialized in producing energy from biomass. The name of the company was, "Bio-Development Corporation" and was located in Bedford, NH. In a short time, he was promoted to the position of Chief Scientist, and utilized his accumulated knowledge to obtain many additional energy related patents.

By the year 2000, he began working with Leonardo Technologies Incorporated of Bedford, NH, and eventually acquired a stake in the company. While with the company, he developed an extremely efficient thermoelectric conversion technology, among others. Also, he started performing his first research which would eventually lead to the development of the E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer).

At some point between his time at LTI and the present, he made the bold decision to sell his stake in the company, to finance the development of the E-Cat technology. After obtaining the funding he needed to properly continue his cold fusion research efforts, he incorporated Leonardo Corporation as his own personal company. (April 22, 1997)

The E-Cat technology began to rapidly evolve, as he discovered the most optimum sizes of nickel powder, the most potent catalysts, and methods of enhancing the reactions via the use of radio frequency generators. Years of testing paid off, and a robust and powerful technology was developed.

Due to his on-going devotion to acquiring knowledge, the skills he gained from working with his father in the family business, his never-quit attitude, and the personal sacrifices he made the first practical cold fusion technology was born.

Now, Andrea Rossi is on the verge of launching the E-Cat technology, and bringing it into the market place.

Leonardo Corp Products

1 (One) Megawatt E-Cat Plant
(Available)

The one megawatt E-Cat plant is currently available for sale to qualified customers, who represent commercial or industrial interests. While being capable of fitting inside of a standard shipping container, it can produce up to one megawatt of power in the form of hot water, or low temperature steam. It is composed of around hundred individual modules, each containing three reactor cores. This game-changing, energy-producing plant consumes no radioactive materials, produces no nuclear waste, emits no pollution, and incorporates numerous safety features. By consuming only small quantities of cheap fuel -- nickel powder and hydrogen gas -- it has earned the reputation of being both economically attractive, and the ultimate "green" machine. More...

5 Kilowatt Home Heating E-Cat
(Pending)

 5 kW E-Cat concept image

The five kilowatt E-Cat is still in research and development phase. Upon completion (2013), it will be offered for sale to the general public. The unit will provide a constant yet adjustable output of up to five kilowatts of heat (in the form of hot water). This large quantity of output is produced with only a very small consumption of electrical power. Like the one megawatt plant, it utilizes no radioactive materials, produces no radioactive waste, emits no radiation into the environment, and releases no pollution. The multiple built in safety features and the inherent nature of the E-Cat technology, make this system an attractive heating solution for homes or small businesses. More...
