Applications of the E-Cat Technology

The E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer) technology holds the potential to be used in a myriad of energy applications ranging from production of heat for generation of hot water and steam (the first applications upon launch of the technology), to producing high pressure/temperature steam to drive turbines for the production of electricity.
The following is a list that includes many of the applications of the E-Cat technology.
Immediate Uses of the E-Cat Technology
- The production of hot water and low temperature steam for industrial and domestic uses. This will be the first
application the technology will be utilized for once the technology hits the market place.
- Pre-heating water to feed into the boilers of conventional power
plants, reducing their fuel requirement.
- The production of high temperature - high pressure steam, to power turbines for the production of electricity.
- Heating for pools and aquaculture.
- Heat for agriculture: e.g. indoor agriculture, green houses, etc.
- A source of heat energy for vehicles with steam engines, Stirling engines, or other types of engines that use heat cycles.
- The desalinization (removal of salt) from ocean water. This could allow deserts to be turned into farmland, or ease the suffering of drought plagued areas -- especially those with a coastline.
- A source of infrared light (black body radiation) to be converted into electricity by photo-thermal voltaic panels. This could eventually produce electricity to power a home or vehicle, with no moving parts.
- A source of heat for sterilization purposes - food, medical equipment, etc.
Future Uses of the E-Cat Technology
- Production of higher temperature steam, e.g. 500 C or above.
- Production of steam capable of driving turbines to provide electricity for appliances, homes, businesses, communities, the grid, off-grid homes, remote locations, etc.
- Production of high levels of heat for vehicles (land, air, and sea) utilizing steam engines, Stirling engines, and exotic heat engines.
- Production of infrared light to produce electricity via photo-thermal voltaic panels.
- Production of electricity to drive electric vehicles.
- A source of energy for space vehicles, including propulsion.
- A source of energy for outposts beyond Earth.

1 (One) Megawatt E-Cat Plant

The one megawatt E-Cat plant is currently available for sale to qualified customers, who represent commercial or industrial interests. While being capable of fitting inside of a standard shipping container, it can produce up to one megawatt of power
in the form of hot water, or low temperature steam. It is composed of
around hundred individual modules, each containing three reactor cores. This game-changing, energy-producing plant consumes no radioactive materials, produces no nuclear waste, emits no pollution, and incorporates numerous safety features. By consuming only small quantities of cheap fuel -- nickel powder and hydrogen gas -- it has earned the reputation of being both economically attractive, and the ultimate "green" machine.

5 Kilowatt Home Heating E-Cat

The five kilowatt E-Cat is still in research and development phase. Upon
completion (2013), it will be offered for sale to the general public. The unit will provide a constant yet adjustable output of up to five kilowatts of heat (in the form of hot water). This large quantity of output is produced with only a very small consumption of electrical power. Like the one megawatt plant, it utilizes no radioactive materials, produces no radioactive waste, emits no radiation into the environment, and releases no pollution. The multiple built in safety features and the inherent nature of the E-Cat technology, make this system an attractive heating solution for homes or small businesses.
