Valon Ahmedi

Valon Ahmedi was born in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia on Oct. 7, 1994. He began his football career from Kastelbell when he was young. In 2011, he transferred to F.C. Südtirol for appreciation of the club’s scout. In 2014, Ahmedi reached a contract with NK Celje of Slovenian PrvaLiga. He was regarded as a significant footballer of the team, winning his first goal in a match against Krka. He took a three month leave for injury and missed opportunities of some competitions.

In 2016, he transferred to NK Maribor of Slovenian champions. He accomplished his first appearance in the 2015–16 Slovenian Cup semi-final game against Zavrč, taking the place of Dare Vršič in the 64th minute. In 2012, he began cutting a striking figure by outstanding performances in the youth team of Südtirol. On the basis of impressive performances in U19, he played for the Albanian U21 for a friendly against in 2013. I firmly believe that he will make great success in Albania football shirts by his extraordinary talents and unremitting efforts.
